Week Ending 11th December
Monday 12th
A really good start to the week with 4 winners.
Fishermans Leah won her A4 in good style by 5 1/2 lengths in 29.62.
Gortkelly Hudini won his A5 in 29.86 after just getting up on the line.
Moody Mare led around the first bend to win her A3 in 29.44.
Malbay Kesha completed the day's work with a good win in her A3. She won today in 29.28 and is coming along nicely.
Tuesday 13th
A fairly quiet trial session with 5 dogs going to Swindon. Glendine Girl completed her qualifying with a good 29.82 effort.
Stanton Jerry returned from a long lay off to record a pleasing 16.80 trial. New puppy, Express Fantasy ran the track well to record the same time. Coolykereen Lee (17.03) and Bramley Leah (17.92) went OK as well.
Wednesday 14th
Another good night with 3 winners.
Oddson Whiskey won her A6 well in 29.82. She's a very Strong looking runner and will be trialled over the extended trip in the New Year.
Scobys Flash continued her good form with another win. She led all the way to win her A3 in 29.46.
Effernogue Load led around the last turn to win his A3 in 29.60.
Thursday 15th
Pretty much a night to forget at Hove this evening!
Portavoe Lass (30.42) and Crinkill Jewell (30.36) completed their trials tonight and will have their first races for the kennel next week.
Forest Faye ran well in defeat as she finished 2nd to a very good bitch in Droopys Eugenie.
Biffo missed the kick completely in his 475m event but ran well in defeat.
Boynepark Joe, Penskey Rain, Noels Touch and Forest Ted all got plenty of trouble as they finished down the field in their races.
Our best chance of the night was with Ding Hero though who had ran so well in defeat at Perry Barr last time out. Unfortunately our bad luck continued as Ding took a crashing fall at the first bend as the entire field bunched up. Thankfully he returned OK but will be given a break now before we get him ready for a crack at the Swindon Arc. It was a shame to end the year like that with Ding though as he's been a revelation since he joined us.
Friday 16th
A rare Friday night off meant we had just the afternoon meeting to cover.
We managed a couple of winners as Come Home Patch led at halfway to win his A7 in 30.14.
Black Beach ran a blinder to win his A2 by 1 3/4 lengths in 29.42.
Saturday 17th
Just the 1 winner tonight as Shirty Gerty stayed on strongly to win her A2 in good style.
