Week ending 11th September
Monday 5th
A good start to the week with 2 winners.
Galley Crash got up to win her A2 in 29.22 and Moving Merry got a much deserved win in her A2 recording 29.34.
Tuesday 6th
Ding Hero returned from his 3 month lay off to record a decent 16.54 sprint. He really needed the blow and should improve nicely for that. He returned sound which was the main thing.
Dance Izzy returned from her lengthy injury lay off to record a good 16.79.
I Certainly May clocked 16.92 in her sprint after being knocked over last time out.
Unfortunately Northcamp Ellie looks set to be retired after tearing a shoulder. Ellie won no end of races for us and has been great fun.
Wednesday 7th
A terrific night for the kennel as we returned with 4 winners.
Forest Ted continued his excellent recent form with another victory in the 509m open. He led all the way to record 30.20.
Motor Home ran a blinder as she led close home to win her A2 in a good 29.14.
Reagrove Dream got her first win for a while as she led on the run in to win her A6 in 29.93.
Molly The second completed the night's work as she led around the 3rd bend to win her A3 in 29.27.
Earlier in the evening both Mercurial Star and Tommy The Wheel ran a bit flat in the 480m open. Tommy came back with a bruised toe and will need a short rest while Mercurial Star had nothing left to give after running two brilliant races over the 509m trip. Sammy will be given a complete rest for 10 days or so before returning to action.
Friday 9th
A good day produced another 4 winners.
Master Rock got the ball rolling with victory in his A8. The Tank led on the run in to win in 30.28.
Springlawn Goofy led all the way to win his A4 well in 29.38.
Princess Ziggy surprised us all as she flew the lids and led all the way in the S3 beating kennel mate Mutter To Razor in 42.67.
Boozed Aroma made it two from two as she flew out and made every post a winning one. She won her A2 in 29.21.
There was some bad news though as Coolykereen Jig tore his gracilis. We'll give him every chance to make a comeback but he wont be risked unless he's 100%.
Saturday 10th
Just the one winner tonight as Sunvalley Crash beat kennel mate I Certainly May in their A3. Crash led at halfway and went on to win well in 29.38.
Fancy Collar beat Penskey Rain by 3/4 in 28.95 in a pre race trial. It was penskey's first trial in around 7 weeks so we were delighted with his effort.
Dance Izzy won her trial in a good 29.67.
The gallop was well used today as Ding Hero, Precious Hawk, Butchers Bounty, Tictac Butterfly, Stanton Bluebell, Kilmalady Biffo, Springlawn Jacko, Liscrea Premier, Forest Crash, Lady Jaro, Moody Mare and Calling Beauty were all put through their paces.
