Week ending 28th November 2010
Monday 22nd
Well it's taken 9 months for this latest update so I hope it's worth it!
1 winner and 4 seconds from our 6 runners. Moving Merry got a deserved win in her A2 race. She hit the front around the first and never looked like being caught. She won in 29.28 which was a very good run considering she is running through her season.
Wednesday 24th
A good night with another 2 winners. Liscrea Premier made the most of a much needed downgrade to win her A4 by just over a length in 29.51.
Stanton Bluebell returned to Swindon after running a good 2nd in a Hove Open Race to win her A1 in good style. She boomed from the boxes to lead all the way in 28.84. She has been a fantastic bitch for the kennel.
Friday 26th
A busy day yielded 2 winners. Mutter To Razor won her very first race back after being spayed. She led all the way in her A4 to win in 29.60. She'll be returning to 6 bends in the near future. We've had 3 race bitches spayed recently and all have returned to form quickly. It certainly looks the answer for these bitches that are coming into season every 4-5 months.
Bookies Girls made it 2 wins from 2 since returning from her seasonal break. This time she quickly hit the front in her A3 and won by nearly 5 lengths in a personal best 29.15. Brooke has now won 8 of her 20 races, a remarkable record.
Others worthy of special mention are Tommy The Wheel and Lady Jaro. Tommy ran a cracking race to record a personal best of 29.01. He led for much of the race before tiring close home. There's plenty more to come from this fella and he'll be one to keep an eye on. Jaro ran a blinder in her A1. The going on the outside wasn't the best on the night and she'll be winning top grade again soon enough.
Nice youngster Effernogue Load took a very nasty fall in his A2 but thankfully returned none the worse for it. Gunner as he is known has only had 5 races but is already competing in A2 company. He's a young pup with plenty more to come. He'll have a short break before returning to action.
Saturday 27th
Another good night with 2 winners. Penskey Rain made a very promising staying debut with an all the way win in S2. He tired somewhat coming home but this was only to be expected after trialling over the trip just 4 days earlier. He has always looked a natural for the longer trip but it took a fair while to get the dog right and he needed time and patience before being stepped up. His winning time of 41.78 suggests it was well worth the wait.
Razldazl Dazl who had previously only competed in Open class races was given a graded race at Swindon. He flashed from the boxes and had the race won on the run to the first bend. He won by 4 lengths in a fastest of the night 28.70. He's now won races at 5 different venues. Laurence is getting stronger all the time and he'll be going for the Arc at Swindon in March all being well.
Patriot Lass went in the notebook tonight as a very unlucky loser. Lass has only had a few races but has really pleased me with everything she has done so far. She will make into a very nice racer.

Week ending 14th February 2010
Monday 7th
What a fantastic week this would turn out to be! We managed a total of 13 winners in all as our run of second's finally turned in to winners.
One of our best ever days today as we returned with 5 winners.
Sounds Classic got the ball rolling with her first career win. She led virtually from the start to win her A7 by a length in 29.81.
Twiglish Chav ran a fantastic race to come from 5th to win a decent A2 by a short head in 29.21. He stayed on very strongly to lead a mile at the pick up. He had always looked like a decent prospect and we were fairly excited about him after this run, unfortunately Chav was later to break his hock on Friday night and a return to racing is very much in the balance. A great shame for his owner who has been very patient as the dog was nursed through all his problems since arriving from Oxford. A real blow.
Beanos Shakira got off the mark with her first race win when winning her A4 in good style. She stayed on strongly to win a personal best 29.47.
Stanton Leroy notched up another win as he led all the way in his A3 to score in 29.66.
Moving Merry completed the day's 5 timer when leading all the way in her A2 to win a personal best 29.22.
Wednesday 10th
Another great night with 4 winners from our 6 runners.
Rackethall Kenny, who has been improving with every run, led all the way in his A5 to win by nearly 4 lengths in a personal best 29.69.
Slaneyside Molly pinged the lids and led all the way to win her A4 in 29.72.
Puerto Bound ran a superb race to win a decent A2 in good fashion. She led on the run in to score in a good 29.12 and was a mile clear at the drop.
Stanton Jerry completed the night's work with a trap to line success in the top heat. He never looked like getting beat and also won in 29.12.
Friday 12th
We were made to wait for our 2 winners today but they were certainly worth it!
Ballinorig Maeve, having only her second race in 6 months led every yard of the way to win her A2 in 28.97. It was a fantastic run considering the length of time she has been off and can only improve. She'll be heading to Henlow for a trial in preparation for a 550m race.
Stanton Denis made light of a bang at the first bend to go on and win his A2 by nearly 5 lengths in 29.49.
We also had 5 seconds throughout the day. Strictly Baileys was beaten just a length in his A3. Ling was denied by just a neck after being caught close home in her A3. Hell Razor ran another superb race when leading every where except the line in his A3. Galley Crash was the most unluckiest loser we'll ever have after slipping out of the boxes and being stopped in running no less than 3 times! She only went down in a photo and looks a likely winner next time if treated OK. Forest Crash recorded a personal best 29.21 in only his second race back from injury and ran with real credit. He was unlucky that a decent S1 bitch turned 2nd to him going in to the back straight.
Saturday 13th
Two winners and a second from our 7 runners tonight.
Stanton Buddy flew the boxes and led virtually all the way in his A1 to win in 29.06. His run was eclipsed by Moving Merry though, who ran the perfect race to win her decent A2 contest in good style. Merry pinged the lids and never looked like being beaten, she went on to win in 29.01, which was the fastest of the night. She has improved steadily over recent outings and as only a May 08 puppy looks destined for open class.

Week ending 7th February 2010
Monday 1st
Another week of seconditis with a total of 10 finishing as runner up!
Today's winner was Dance Izzy. She won her A3 in 29.59.
Hell Razor equalled his personal best run of 29.39 but was beaten a nk in his A3.
Wednesday 3rd
A quiet night for us. Parnell Lee returned our best result when finishing 2nd in his A2.
Superstar Lily returned to the track after a 2 month lay off to record a flying 28.67. She led all the way in her trial and beat the Cesarewitch runner up, Melodys Comet, comfortably. Thankfully she returned safe and sound and her broken fibula has held up perfectly. She'll be heading off to Henlow for a trial in preparation for the Grand Prix.
Friday 5th
The dogs in general performed really well today as we returned with 3 winners and 5 seconds.
Princess Ziggy made it 2 wins from 3 since returning from season to win her A4 in 29.66.
Twiglish Whitty returned after a short break to lead all the way in her A3. She won in 29.55.
The run of the day though came from Forest Crash. Having his first run back after a 3 month lay off, Crash hit the front off the 2nd bend and never looked in danger of being beaten. He went on to score by nearly 3 lengths in a personal best 29.35. This lad has only had 5 races in his life and if staying sound will go on to make a nice sort.
Ah Sure Cool, Stanton Denis, Sullane Donie, Puerto Bound and Stanton Buddy all ran well in defeat.
Saturday 6th
June 08 puppy, Galley Crash, ran a blinder to win her A2 in a personal best 29.25. She flew from the boxes and led all the way. There still looks plenty to come from this girl and she's a cracking prospect having only had 5 races.
Stanton Ollie, Bers Rose and Blue Turmoil all finished 2nd. Bers Rose looks very much like a winning in waiting after getting this run under her belt.
