Week ending 17th May 2009
Monday 11th
A very good start to the week with 2 winners from our 4 runners.
Cheeseboard continued her excellent form of late to score in her A2 in 29.60.
Not Yet finally got the luck she deserved to win her A3 in very good fashion. She led all the way to record a personal best 29.21.
Tuesday 12th
A busy day with 8 of our dogs going to Swindon for trials. Ballinahina Dini completed his qualifying when recording 29.31. This fellow will be a nice sort in time. Serene Lark completed his return from injury when winning his trial in 29.86. Stanton Buddy had his first trial for 6 weeks after suffering a shoulder injury. He recorded a slick 16.54 in his sprint trial.
Stanton Teddy returned to the track after an eight month lay off. This lad had a hand slip and went very well. He returned safe and sound so we'll be keeping our fingers crossed.
Wednesday 13th
A fantastic night with 2 winners from 6 runners. Highlight of the night was Easy Eight's 480m Open Race win. She quickly hit the front and drew right away from the opposition to record a decent 28.90. Tullovin Blossom won her A7 in 29.78.
Friday 15th
A good day with 3 winners in total. Bers Rose led all the way in her A2 to record 29.18. Ballyphilip Lady made it a winning debut when scoring in her A5. She recorded 29.81. Stanton Torres led all the way to win his A3 in 29.48. We had a number of seconds today and a few are worth making note of. Clomantagh Blue, Oaks Best and Forest Best all ran very well and will be winning in the near future.
Saturday 16th
No winners tonight, however we did have a couple of good performances. Harlequin Heidi made her racing debut and finished 3rd. She ran with real credit and can only improve. Stanton Leroy ran a very gutsy race in his A2. He was only beaten a shd in a photo.
